The Eureka! Enigma, has brought with it a deluge of thanks you letters, enquires and requests for further help. This is typical and through this blog I will try to answer as many questions as possible…

Ron,
I have followed your philosophy for many, many years. I have had more eurekas than I can count, and some were VERY BIG ideas. However I am struggling with the action side of things, and find my self destruct mode still comes to the fore no matter how hard I try to act on my visualisations. Is there anything I can do to ensure that my activity levels are high and constantly moving me toward my goals. Those snakes are always ambushing me!!  Jason Kendrick MA

To my mind this is a very articulate letter and raises quite a few issues, that I feel if addressed properly and honestly will answer this type of question. My first point is did the BIG ideas just come or did they come as a result of deliberate programming of the biocomputer? Once the BIG idea came, as with any BIG idea you need to break it down into the small of components, the same as Alan Turing used to do with Algorithms, until they it can be no further divided. Once you have broken it down you then need to visualise the smaller components.

You already know that I love the expression ‘If you keep doing what you are doing you’re going to get more of the same. Some serious analysis of what you are doing needs to be done and then you need to alter both your conscious thinking and biocomputer thinking (subconscious thinking) dramatically. A good starting point would be to set one relatively small goal and focus on this with all the ‘visualization power’ you can muster, until you have impregnated the neurons in your biocomputer at a cellular level and try to materialize one small goal. You’ll know when you have inserted this program properly because you’ll start getting Colossus Output, ideas that really do work and can be implemented with the resources that you already have to hand. The right idea always bring with it the impetus to action because the right idea is so obviously right and simple to implement. The key objective here is to prove to yourself you can program and make your biocomputer work at will, creating Eurekas! on Demand. It sounds to me as though you have read the book but not studied it. Once you really study it you’ll realize this is a step-by-step guide for unravelling the exact same problem that you describe. All change; as simple, but not as easy as that!

It’s trite but true, if you keep on doing what you’re doing you’ll get more of the same. Change is called for! What type of change and how, is the $64,000 question. The changes that you need to make will emanate from your own personal list of goals and action list you prepare in order to achieve them. Action is the key to the brain ignition – never forget it! Of course the biggest change you make will be when you start to program your mind at a cellular level, really impregnating those billions of neurons to create ‘software’ for the brain giving you a permanent track to run on. You do this by visualizing InAdvance the goals you are trying to accomplish – even if at first you just get foggy images. Keep at it! Final note: I just spotted The Eureka! Enigma in ‘Changes’, UK’s biggest NLP catalogue.

Oh what a joy! Today I received in the mail a hardback copy of Rocky Robinson’s book ‘Flat Out – The Race for the Motocycle World Land Speed Record’. Rocky personally signed the book “Enjoy the Ride” and he recently gave me some serious advice about my own record attempt. I haven’t had time to read the book yet, but I’ve certainly dipped into it and there are pearls of wisdon and much inspiration on every page. More to come when I’ve finished the book! I can’t wait to meet the guy who currently owns the record, at some 360 mph!!

When Nothing Else Works!?

Just doing my own market research as one does. The Eureka! Enigma is selling well over the world: Ebay, Amazon, wealth.co.uk Highest price so far $1,164.51 on Amazon.com I suppose he’ll get it…never figured out the pricing on Amazon. Loads of interest in the last few days from China, India, France, Bulgaria and of all places – Monaco. One complaint (from India) that we used the ‘Royal Family’ for our launch – so sorry, but one must use one connections – mustn’t one!

Getting Past the Noise!

So just what is the difference between doing and talking? It’s a good question especially when sometimes you have to be your own best salesman, and actually get out there and promote yourself. I’ve learned not to be shy and always put my best foot forward and step up to the plate and I learned years ago that sometimes you have to blow your own trumpet. One thing is for sure no one else is going to blow it for you! You have to make your own way in the world and every day try to gain a little ground. The good news is that if you keep on keeping on you tend to create your own breaks. Today I feel empowered. Four more speaking engagements in the diary and that’s the sure fire formula for selling books….by the bucket load.  (I’m seriously working on that strategy right now, price point, leaflets, advance PR, teams, hooks. None of this happens by accident!) Yes I’m talking up the job…but I am also doing it!!!

I always laugh when I see TV hospital shows and see the signs by the bedside that say NIL BY MOUTH. As an entrepreneur, author and marketeer I am amazed the way most books gets sold…through word of mouth. I have known this for a long time but only recently it has been driven home to me. Our campaign kicks off on the 1st September, which is literally just around the corner, but for the past few weeks we have been selling pre-launch copies of The Eureka! Enigma. Orders are flooding in and I thought I would find out why. They are coming in from all over the UK, places where I have not done any speaking. As orders have been coming in, I have taken it on myself to phone up a number of these ‘early adopters’ and ask how they got to know about the book. Of the twenty plus that I called, every single one said it was a word of mouth recommendation by a friend, either verbally face-to-face, or over the phone, or over the email. This is very powerful because in this day and age many people are writing books and getting them published, (Print of Demand and the Internet has revolutionized publishing) but of course the acid test is whether those that buy the initial books start talking it up. Word of mouth is still the number one way in which books sell. Worth thinking about, especially if you are a book marketer or a new author yourself.
